ILIAS-Course Introduction to Systems Biology (WS16/17)

  • Start: Tuesday, 25.10.2016

Systems Biology aims at a holistic understanding of regulatory processes in living organisms and combines approaches from Systems, Life and Computer Sciences. The course provides an introduction into current modeling techniques and analysis methods used in this field, in particular:

  • Modeling biochemical networks based on chemical reaction kinetics
  • Stochastic modeling of biochemical reaction networks
  • Constraint-based models and flux balance analysis
  • Boolean modeling
  • more information
This lecture addresses students of the study programs Msc Engineering Cybernetics (“Vertiefungsfach Systembiologie”), Bsc / Msc Simulation Technology (“Profilvertiefung Biomechanik und Systembiologie”), Msc Technical Biology or Mathematics.
