Dynamics of Discrete-Event Systems

This lecture covers typical discrete-event problems and fundamental properties of event-driven signals and systems. Theory of deterministic and non-deterministic automata establishes a basis for understanding and handling event-driven systems. In total, petri nets and autotmata are used to model subsystems which form the basis for hierarchial and interconnected models.
