Subject

Intraoperative Multisensoric Tissue Differentiation in Oncology (GRK2543)

Project B1 - Intraoperative Navigation of Multimodal Sensors

Within the Graduate School (GRK) "Intraoperative Multisensory Tissue Differentiation in Oncology," various sensors are being developed for intraoperative tissue differentiation to provide surgeons with precise information for decision-making regarding the removal or preservation of tissue during surgeries.

Subproject B1 focuses on developing a synthetic bladder model that enables the spatial mapping of different sensor data during an operation and supports the automated documentation of extracted tissue samples. The model is based on intraoperative camera images, from which recognizable structures are extracted and integrated into the model. This allows for the assignment of information to specific positions.
